Guidelines for Donating to the ReCOVER store

Donations need to be clean and in good to excellent condition.
Donations must be approved by a staff member during business hours.

Books and Art– we accept books on a limited basis.  We accept framed artwork, sculpture, and frames. Housewares-we accept pots and pans, cutlery, small kitchen appliances, counter top microwaves, sets of dishes, shades (with complete hardware), unique and interesting glassware. Other- bicycles, lawn mowers, snow blowers, vacuums.
Tools– we accept hand tools, hand held power tools, gardening tools, sporting equipment, and automotive tools. Paint & Paint Accessories-we accept paint that is less than 5 years old that has been stored indoors (has not frozen and cans are not rusty), brushes, rollers, drop clothes. Lighting– we accept functional interior and exterior lighting fixtures that are not too dated and with mounting hardware if possible, table top and floor lamps, lampshades, CFL and LED light bulbs.
Appliances-we accept both propane and electric  appliances, refrigerators less than 15 years old, ranges, cook tops, dishwashers less than 5 years old, clothes washers and dryers, hot water heaters and wood stoves. Doors and Windows– we accept interior and exterior doors, door hardware and new or replacement windows. Please no peeling paint. Toilets and sinks– we accept stainless steel, cast iron, and porcelain kitchen sinks, bathrooms sinks, and low volume flush toilets, kitchen and bathroom faucets.
Furniture– Chairs, tables, chests, bureaus, side tables, coffee tables, china cabinets, recliners, bookcases,  upholstered furniture (no stains, rips or obvious wear), beds (no stains, less than 5 years old). Cabinets– kitchen and bathroom cabinets, countertops. Building material-dimensional lumber, plywood, sheetrock, electrical and plumbing supplies, tile, flooring, siding, roofing, rigid insulation, clean, dry packaged fiberglass insulation.
